Meet Morgan

I write passionate, intriguing, puzzle-like stories that leave you wanting more. Featuring intertwined fingers, swords, and things that go bump in the night.

Who Am I?

Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where most of the John Hughes movies were filmed, I found myself sitting out at Wrigley Field during baseball season and in the Madhouse on Madison watching the Chicago Blackhawks during hockey season. I grew up with an older brother who loves to playfully beat me up for fun and a triplet brother and sister who I’m convinced I have telepathy with! My family has rescued multiple Alaskan Malamutes, who have completed our family’s pack (and are my reading and writing buddies).

I love almost all teas (shh…Chai is my favorite). Anything cinnamon is my weakness. My favorite dessert is (you guessed it) cinnamon rolls! Romance novel enthusiast. Collector of crystals. Scented candle lover.

I grew up believing that I wanted to become a nurse (and somehow ended up working at an animal hospital). While attending college, I realized that my true passion was writing and that’s when I decided to pursue it full time. Books have always been a significant part of my life—they helped me overcome a reading impairment as a kid and served as an escape for my introverted lifestyle.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy long runs to clear my head (endorphins really fuel the soul), watching Harry Potter for the millionth time while repeating every line, and listening to true crime podcasts.
